How does this drum end up at Goodwill? Last viewed: 0 seconds ago

By the measuring method used on this drum you need to measure the top of the floor.. then go the floor below look up and measure the bottom of the floor. Then find a floor HVAC register... take it out of the floor and measure how thick your floor is.

Now your floor, just like this drum, has a top measurement, a bottom measurement and a thickness measurement. Eye BallLoLoLoLo

Just went to Goodwill's site to check it out, and it's still listed with a current bid price of $4802:

Then I noticed this Jazz Fest...

I've got to check out Goodwill more often. Guess some nice stuff occasionally pops up among all the entry-level MIC stuff.

I used to get good stuff real cheap but now too many people know about it and the bids get way too high.

Thinking about this Jim, I thought it might be worth looking into.

I built a drum 15 inches in diameter and made it 15 inches thick and 5 inches high.

I couldn`t look into it.

It`s a drum,.....Hit It !!

Reading through the question was not answered. My guess is despite efforts of drum collectors in the area running ads, chasing down who might have old drums. Someone found this in Grandpa's "junk" and just dropped it off. Who knows what got tossed because GW did not know what it was. All the pawn shops/thrift stores in the area have my number and I stop in and say Hi when I can. Not a card just a note "Old Drums BR-549"

>I couldn`t look into it.

Great concept ! No heads, muffler... required :-)
