Such a shame about the extra holes. Nice looking Kit though.
Only the bass and snare drum came with badges in 1964.
I think it was 66 or 67 when they starting installing badges on the toms.

I had a set of late 50's early 60's Slingerland's that didn't have Badges or vent holes on any of the Toms, only the Bass Drum had them. I think, (and correct me if I'm wrong), that's how they were made at that time, so maybe your drums are older then you think or they were using up shells left over from earlier years.

you gotta love the wealth of information on this site. Thanks to all for the info. Here's the bass drum and all of together. Thank each and every one for checking these out. Yes one of the hoops is missing the inlay.
