Such a shame about the extra holes. Nice looking Kit though.

Only the bass and snare drum came with badges in 1964.

I think it was 66 or 67 when they starting installing badges on the toms.

I had a set of late 50's early 60's Slingerland's that didn't have Badges or vent holes on any of the Toms, only the Bass Drum had them. I think, (and correct me if I'm wrong), that's how they were made at that time, so maybe your drums are older then you think or they were using up shells left over from earlier years.
