As for the one in question and to try to answer your question in a roundabout way... I don't know... because it's too rare and too fishy to know any information other then what I have already expressed.

That was funny; Jazzette is worth $1000.

Yes, I said an "orphan" 12x18 Jazzette bass drum (not a full 100% 18/12/14 matching kit) depending on it overall condition can be worth up to about $1,000.00 for just the bass drum alone...

IMO a full 100% matching Keystone wood finish 12x18/12/14 Jazzette kit, would be about $3,500.00 +/- might be higher but not much.

I own two 100% original Keystone Jazzette kits one in natural & the other in mahogany finish...

Why not just post the pics that people who you are seeking advise from are requesting so maybe you can get you answer on whether or not the bass drum is real or not ? Then and only then will anyone be able to figure what it may be worth .

That said that set is really cool and wish I had it in my collection .

Oh, I believe you and agree with you. I thought you made a great joke here, giving the value of a Jazette... I thought you were poking him with a proverbial stick.

I never asked for anyone's opinion on it's authenticity, that was verified more than a decade ago when it came into my possession. I submitted it here to garner opinions on it's rarity and value, which in hindsight was a mistake.

Yes, I agree with Rik Everglade... basically not saying for sure your drum is a fake (but their is some doubt of it's authenticity) you must understand their are too many replica drums floating around and without providing some clear documentation or some clear photo proof especially on such a high-value target like a natural maple vintage 18" bass drum nothing will ever come of it... so unfortunately you will NOT get what you are seeking in terms of it's value without some help from you the owner... i.e. by providing a few simple photos.

It's like trying to sell a very $ expensive $ purebred puppy without AKC documentation... it's just a nice dog and unfortunately worth way below what you think.
