I see it hasn`t sold yet...What is your guess at what it will sell for?

Doubt that it will unless it is set to a regular auction as opposed to the buy it now.
I don't have any proof of that. The 6.5 Acrolites were not cataloged before the 6.5 Black Galaxy Acrolites came about. "Word is" that they were special ordered NYC drums. There may be some keystone models out there with the markings. Mine just isn't one of them.
Which was an easy special order for Ludwig to fill as they were 402 shells minus the chrome plating.
Update...
This snare still hasn`t sold yet and the price is still the same...You would think the seller would lower the price to rekindle interest...

For 2,600 bucks, I would expect all the same t-rods.
The one for sale, has rods threaded 3/4 of the shaft on top, and threaded 1/2 on the bottom. So does the one Purdie showed.
All the others in this thread, have all the same of either rod, not mixed.

I believe the seller is holding on to this drum as a piece of advertising his business / seller handle. It creates threads like this (like it or hate it).
From my understanding, the last keystone 6.5 acro sold for 2K from a very reputable seller.

Wow! If he's using it for advertising the only thing he's accomplishing is developing a reputation for charging insane prices. Read the thread again, everybody is in agreement that his asking price is over the top crazy. Who would call a guy like that hoping to find something at a reasonable price? If anything, the 'buzz' he's creating is to avoid him if you're looking to buy. Cooked Egg

Not to mention the snare is altered.
'All original' is helpful when you're sinking enough money to buy a decent used car, into a snare drum.
It is strange that he's asking 'factory mint' prices when it's not all original.
Good eye by the way, I can't see sh*t and I wear glasses!

Back on ebay with the same asking price...
Cheers
