Is it me,or has the frequency of major disasters and weather events these past couple of years, just gone bat s*it crazy?Today, huge waves were battering the UK and Spain.Major flooding in the UK again, within the last year. We're STLL haven't gotten it fully back together after hurricain Sandy, here in Staten Island and other parts of the city, and New Jersey.

Now there's another major storn on it's way to the southeast,on top of another one, that hit within 24 hours.

Maybe we need to put back the moon rocks.Hurting

No brother, you're not crazy, or alone! According to all current scientific projection models, the frequency and intensity of these storms and weather changes is only going to get worse over time. It would take a united effort by all of us to even begin to turn it around. Part of the problem is; half of humanity is still living on a flat earth!

Do you know who Giordano Bruno was? Several hundred years ago he correctly proposed that the Sun was just another star moving in space, and claimed as well that the universe contained an infinite number of inhabited worlds populated by other intelligent beings. The Roman Inquisition found him guilty of heresy, and he was burned at the stake. After his death he gained considerable fame, particularly among 19th- and early 20th-century commentators who, focusing on his astronomical beliefs, regarded him as a martyr for free thought and modern scientific ideas. We just have to wait for the rest of humanity to wake up and take notice. Then, (maybe) collectively, we'll be able to take steps to -over time- correct some of the problems that we ourselves have created. Talk to the 'flat-earth' crowd that denies anything is going on! Shoot, I may get burned at the stake for saying as much as I have here. LOL

Nothing right, left or any other wing about admitting that our excesses and mistakes may have been partially to blame for crazy weather. Nobody's perfect. Don't worry Purdie you're still loved here on VDF :)

Hey.. We as vintage drum lovers are doing our share. We're recycling drums instead of buying new...

Larry - I figure as long as I don't mention the dreaded 'F' word, our friend, Nancy won't get her panties all in a bunch! LOL

Got an inch of new snow already and it's only just beginning! Here it comes. Shovel at the ready!

We're finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel. It hit 40 here yesterday, and over the next ten days our highs are to be: 40, 51, 53, 59, 63, 61, 60, 63, 66, 63. We'll take that!

I've got some shell interiors I will be painting this weekend! :)

We got another 12" here in Reading, PA. I shoveled out the walkways, but there is a second wave on the way that promises to dump another 3" to 6" of fresh snow. Me and Bev stocked up yesterday, so were good even if we're stuck here for a week. I don't see being able to move the car for at least two or three days. We're on a back-street in a suburban community (low priority) and they haven't plowed the roadway yet. Hope all you guys are faring well. Lots of folks without power all over the South & North-East.
