Absolutely beautiful as is!!! Looks like it'll be a relatively easy cleanup. All polished up and your set will be a serious piece of eye candy.

All the way from Chicago to Napier, NZ!Amazing..

via Dunedin (not Christchurch as i stated originally). I have a theory that many hard to sell models/colors etc were dumped here in the 60 and 70s. The country was starved of good imports and we'd take anything. I understand this color didn't sell to well. I also have a rare Vespa scooter that were dumped here big numbers because they wouldn't sell in Europe - now very desireable.

I know of another set in this finish that was sold new here and have heard of another one floating around too.

I think the pink oyster pearl or Rogers pink ripple are the best. Wonder if you can bring out the color a little better after a little cleaning. Anyway, congrats. That's a long time to wait ... and worry !!

Larry, I think the color is quite good, maybe a bit faded on the top side of the BD which is covered in dust too. My orange dining room is maybe robbing them of some of their vibrancy. It's hard to compete with our dining room where vibrancy is concerned although I reckon Joeyboom's kit gives it a run for it's money. That's proper pink that isflower

Between the Slingerlands and SlingerLeedy's, we're seeing some nice finishes today! Keep 'em coming.
