An excellent kit! Oyster Pink was one of those finishes that most of us wouldn't be caught dead with back in the 60's. Now, it's a totally cool finish... and rare.

Now... straighten out the bass drum head with "Slingerland" logo. I'm getting dizzy looking at it with my head cocked! LoLoLoLo

Ha Ha! I just took the photo as they came out of the box pretty much - a before shot. Also, the after shots will look even better in comparison when the logo is straightJumping2

Ah yes, I was going to get to that. I'll take more photos later today but it seems it's a homemade job. I'll post the pics later.

Here it is. I have no idea but it looks homemade. It may be one thick ply. You can see that it's thicker on one side. The parallel strainer system was not working. Maybe it did once upon a time. The lugs are possibly brass. Definitely metalic but a magnet doesn't stick.
