The Blue Miore finish on those babies is the icing on the cake... and you get to enjoy both you lucky guy.Nice score Manny, and just looking at them would make anyone feel cool on the hottest of days. That wrap just screams 60`s surf and the Camco sound? Well i think that`s a well proven track record! Enjoy as i`m sure you are.

(Hey guys, hopefully those lugs will keep him centered. :D)

The advantages are numerous, including the fact that you only have to clean half as many lugs on the bass and toms. Just take care not to whack those long tension rods.

Now that you're completely broke, PM me with your very lowest price including shippng for the Rogers blue strata! :o

Nice score at a very good price. I've got the same sizes more or less just not centre-lugged and they are cracking.

Nice score at a very good price. I've got the same sizes more or less just not centre-lugged and they are cracking.

I am just concerned when I cleaned the kit that I might strip some lugs if I take them off to clean it up. It looks like the new George H Way drums use the same lugs.

Plan of attack for this kit:

1. Touch up hoops

2. Lots of scrubbing bubbles

3. Hardware looks good but still give it a good going over

4. New heads - I always keep stock heads aside in a box

5. Surf Rock!!

No worries there as the Tuxedo lugs don't crack around the lug inserts like the Aristocrat lugs do.

Very nice score at a good price. If I hadn't just spent my drum kitty money on a set of cymbals I would've bid on those too. Glad a fellow forum member got them!

I have never kept watching the tracking updates like I have for this kit. Maybe I will gig it tonight. Fun times!

The drum shop did an excellent job packaging these drums. Here are some of my initial thoughts on the kit as I unpacked it:

1. The jasper shells aside from the re-rings are very similar to Gretsch

2. The way Camco wrapped their drums is almost identical to how Gretsch did so

3. The quality is amazing

Lately I have been thinking about just keeping the real stunners in my collection and this fits in that category. I just cleaned off some of the wrap with scrubbing bubbles and it looks great. The kit feels like it is built very solid.

Based on what I have seen so far I imagine the sound to be a nice mix of a Rogers & Gretsch kit. This kit is a keeper in my collection for sure.
