I Spent My Christmas Money Last viewed: 3 hours ago

I bought this set tonight. It is SO looking! It's small, the same size as my old Ludwig set (20" bass drum, 14" floor tom, 13" and 12" toms and a 14" snare drum). The way the toms are mounted on the bass drum is weird. They are like clips that the drums slide into. My extra Vistalite toms are kind of like this but they are on a stand. It's in great shape. The throne that is with it weighs a ton! There is a metal thing on the bass drum that I don't know what it does. I think it hold an extra drum or a different way to mount one of the drums or something.

My question is, I can still only keep 3 sets, but i can have as many snares as I want. If I keep the snare but sell the rest of the drums, does that make the rest of the set worthless? Thanks.

Julia

Majestic drums are made by Star, The kit would have reduced value do to the snare drum missing, Do you like the way it sounds or just the wrap ?

I love the way it sounds, but I'm still learning. I think it sounds as good as my Ludwig Downbeat kit. But I bought it because of the way it looks.

Then give the 2 kits a trial period play both for a set amount of time then decide which one you like better. Sale that other one off.

I 'had' a three kit limit at one time. But that was long ago.

Maybe it's just time to -up the limit-! Tell dad the 'new limit' is now four kits and you're golden! lol

John

Too many great drums to list here!
