remember the thread kona did bout the gretsch drum head? anyway, it really bugged me so i emailed the guy a cup'l days ago with a simple question, i asked who was the original owner?, in his discription of the head he said the original owner took that head off to replace it with his band name head, so i figured he would know the owner. well this morning i got a reply simply saying e player for sure. i replied to his reply playing dumb and said i did not know what he meant by his reply, and explained that i was interested and for that kind of money i wanted to know everything there was to know bout that head and that they did not put mike holes in drum heads in the 50's n 60's. and was curious if the original owner had that hole done professionally or not. i got a reply from that, he apologized and.....here is his last reply:

he did lower the price but still a lit'l high for me, i think i change my mind, maybe i'm not as interested as i thought i was. got him to lower the price anyways.
