What I find strange is that , it says no questions have been asked !!

I`m the one who told him there is no 21" head, it`s got damage and the hole is not original. Also told him he`s lucky to get ten bucks for it !!

It`s a drum,.....Hit It !!

So you ask a question about the head and he answers you with a response that looks like it was written by a first grader trying to get you to just jump on this like it is a huge "DEAL" and then he block YOU?

However, it does say that you could add $500.00 to the value of your round badge.

For that price I could hand paint the Gretsch logo on a calfskin head for you.

I also like the description, “A truly RARE and AMAZING guitar”

PRICELESS!!!Hmmmm

I didn`t ask him anything, I pretty much told him what he was doing and hinted that he knows what he`s doing. That`s why he said to robyn64 that she was polite. He claims not to know anything , but writes that crap,..he`s a greedy crook !!

Do you think this gets even more fishy? I grabbed a pic of the head discussed in this thread and a pic from another listing for "50's Gretsch logo head". 1st of all the 2nd head is calfskin. Now take a good look and compare the two logos. Zoom in as much as your computer allows. The logo on the head in question looks a little rough around the edges especially on the R and E and has some weird fading that almost looks like marker strokes. Also look at the T-rod handles and the wing nut on the cymbal stand. The second head has much sharper lines and more definition in the details. I'd be curious if this head is even from the 50's. It doesn't look any different from heads of the 70's through today. To any of the experts out there please correct me if I'm wrong about this.

I don't know when they switched, but I thought the 50's logo was the word GRETSCH on a curve with the "T" stretched over the top...

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
