Just how rare and unusual is this Rogers kit? Last viewed: 2 minutes ago

Not intended at all my friend! Just splainin' as you did ask! Also, the Rogers FB Group is a private group, meaning you have to be a "member" to see the posts. In addition, that thread/post has been REMOVED, as I thought it might be. It had NO INFORMATION, just back and forth bickering and crap... and again, while entertaining!... well, you know. We get enough of that HERE from time to time! Hope this explains it! BEST!!!Tommyp

... got it, Tommy. Will someone at least give the Cliff's Notes or does it seriously not even matter in reference to the kit in question?

The kit in question is in fair shape but the Dynasonic has some serious cracks in the wrap and is missing part of the throwoff. As far as the Facebook fiasco - he's been banned from the Rogers Group 2 (Buying/Selling) page because of his behavior. That hardly ever happens.

Not surprised at all with that decision Jeff. I've had to do it here too, but fortunately not often either!

From Drum Collector

Here are some photos of the paper tags.

These tags are confusing... The two Cleveland tags which I would have assumed are the bass and 13" tom have numbers which put their manufacture date in late 1963 (the first Beavertail lugged shells). In fact, that Holiday #36131 is the earliest serial number I've seen with Beavertails (Holiday #35327 has B&B lugs).

But what's odd is the 1970 Fullerton label on the speckled-interior shell. It wouldn't have been at all unusual for someone to add a newer Fullerton FT to a 3-piece Cleveland kit, but the Fullerton label is right above the script logo pins, and there's a collet bolt and washer right next to the logo pins. This doesn't match the exterior of the FT. It actually matches the top of the bass drum, but the hardware on the bass drum is definitely Cleveland, not Fullerton.

Could you clarify which tag is on which drum? It could more accurately date what you have there.

Oh, and really nice drums you've got there!

I'm going to have to remove the drum heads to determine which tag goes with which drum. Hopefully I can get to that project this weekend. They are a nice set; Rogers really knew how to build great drums!!

OK, Cleveland tag #36131 is the 9X13 mounted tom tom. Cleveland Tag #4420 is the 16X16 floor tom tom. Fullerton tag #27617 is the 14X22 bass drum. The wood dynasonic has no paper tag.

Sound like orphan drums in the same wrap put together in a set to me .

Warning ... Avoid member statuscymbal here, vintage_collector on DFO , and americanpatriot10 on eBay. Email me for his name. All are the same shady guy who has burned me and a list of other members on both boards . He is also selling on Facebook too ..

The bass drum is the confusing part. It has cleveland hardware but the interior is painted grey speckled paint and has a fullerton tag. Anyone have any ideas?
