thanks thomasehirsh only person to give me any thought, to the rest of you guys i toured europe and the states . hope the rest of you can get out of your basements GOODBYE..............

Wow. Nice attitude, fella. I was just about to post an excellent response (I own several Kent drums) until I saw this. Have fun touring the world while the rest of us just hang in the basement (pretty big assumption, don't you think?)

This place is full of the friendliest, most helpful people I've ever come across in drumming, including a few who have had international success as performers.

Good riddance.

Well now... actually, I've never met a basement I didn't like. Not very many of 'em out here.

Also, I've played some great dives in a number of states... so there. There was this one in Delano, some time in the late 70's... well that's another story for another time. Makes me tired just thinking about it.

And yep, Google works for most things, including Paramount... but then I digress...

Yeah Mikey, I thought that was funny as well, thanks. DOH

Funny, most Kent collectors or owners are aware of Coopers' great site. Don't know how Lud55 missed that in searching for answers to his question.Hmmmm

Basements aside, the above web page is very informative. I knew next to nothing about Kent. It's funny how someone can make even the smallest most forgotten drums of the 60s look desirable thanks to an informative website. Of course, now I'm thinking of getting some Kents :)

p.s. Love the photo of the old factory - now a auto repair garage. How cool is that?
