Thanks James! I like contrast between shiny/satin & nature/industrial. Too many guys already make the "bright & shiny" thing...I like a vintage look with modern hardware.

Thanks man! Actually those are Gretsch die-cast that I brushed satin with scotchbrite pads. Neat trick that manufacturers make you pay extra for, but easily done at home in a matter of minutes. Try it on some old hoops some time, very cool look! Wanted the hoops to match the Trick lugs & throw, since the hoops were already an aluminum alloy, I basically just took the shine off of them. It made a very nice contrast with the high gloss Tung finish on the shell.
