Hey! Everybody play nice...and don't make me pull this car over! Hmmmm

Stu's new here guys...we don't want to run him off just yet!

Like anything else prices rise & fall depending on demand & the economy. I've seen guys get into testosterone bidding wars over a certain drum, bidding goes through the roof & the losers jump on the next one available to continue the fight. This stuff has a trickle-down effect, eventually it all evens back out. People pay what they're willing to pay...if it's worth it to you & you've got the cash, then that is the market price. Until we all quit doing stupid stuff & paying crazy prices for "tubes with metal hanging off them" it will continue to escalate.

Just my 2 cents!...OH, and as always my answer is Bacon...this will be the last Poll I take...it hurts after a while! LOL!

This is the first poll I didn't vote "bacon" on. It's obviously Slingerland for the win this year. Man, I passed on so many Slingerland kits last year it's not even funny.

Also, my prediction is that Gretsches will continue to go down...

1965 Ludwig Hollywood

Ditto here... not bacon this time!

I also voted Slingerland... but admittedly with an ulterior motive. I've got some Slingerlands to repair/restore/rewrap/rewhatever and they take just as much work as the Ludwigs and it would be nice if they'd start selling for as much as the Ludwigs... So, by my voting for Slingerland I'm hoping to help start something.

I hope that made sense...
