Kidding...any info is good info & how the thread starter chooses to use that info is his or her prerogative. Not taking sides, but this is no different than someone posting a link to a product on CL or eBay & asking everyone if they should buy it. It's a forum...you know, asking questions, asking opinions & taking polls.

There's a few things I do with this information:

1) I help out a few vintage instrument buyer friends with this info

2) I see what I may or may not buy

3) I see what I may sell

4) I see what I will hold onto

Believe me- everything goes into action; what I tell you lot what I do with the info is not always made public. But something I have suspected has been found out here: the bargain on vintage Slingerland could come to an end very soon.

Anything you or Fungus or the other lot post is automatically suspicious. Considering the fact that you said you were set on bringing this forum down and the little gang of followers were joining in. So, when you make all these fairly superfluous threads and posts ... it's a stretch to buy into.

Let me restate this: I was mainly ****ed off by a vocal minority who tended to butt in on my threads by being the self-appointed thread police. I would go so far to say that the thread police is a small minority here.

What am I trying to achieve here? Nothing less than what is stated. If you want to question my motivation, that's fine. I am refusing to engage here.

I was asked to tone it down, and I am not threatening to drill mint WMP Rogers kits or anything like that. Really, my object now is just to learn. I have other outlets for the real and more fun me.

I do not believe I have said anything anywhere near offensive in this thread to Kevins. I answered a question in a very succinct and matter of fact manner.

Stu not to be a prick but you are very new here and I cant help but notice that most of your posts have been on these poll threads, and in a negative tone to the bunny...

Slingerland, with the exception of Radio King snares, will always take a back seat in value compared to the other Big Boys. Nothing we discuss here is gonna change that.

Just as nearly nothing we discuss here even makes a ripple in anyone's pond but our own, and we ain't that big of a pond.
