One thing I haven't seen discussed yet is the size of the snare. The seller states that it's 15", but also got the other drum sizes wrong.
I know Leedy offered 15" snare drums at various points, but I don't know about this particular drum/year/model.
Do you folks think this is a 14" or 15" snare?
Just to give an idea of a price from the 1941 catalog - the Night Club Outfit here - at $350 would be more than $4200 at today's dollars.
And I haven't seen a 15" snare drum offered in the Leedy catalogs. I think the seller is measuring the total diameter of the drum....no big deal....I think.
