That's a really cool kit. Makes me want to set up my Slingerland Jazz Rock 57N.

Last night I couldn't sleep debating if I should instal a cymbal mount on the right Bass drum...Oh, drum gods!!! I'm not worthyBowing
If you are debating as to putting a Ludwig cymbal mount offset for a ride, I wouldn't recommend them. The newer ones for a ride cymbal don't tighten up very well. I would recommend if anything the DW one which looks to be a bit stronger. I have this version, and although it's on a Ludwig 26 inch bass drum, it's okay. Hindsight being 20/20, I would of opted for something different.
I would never , repit: NEVER be seen with any DW stuff on my set up!!! THATS AGAINST MY VINTAGE DRUM RELIGION!!!!!!!!! hahahahah. now seriuosly BBB: If John Henry used the old Ludwig L cymbal arm for his 24" 2002 (and Boy, he gave that cymbal a spin) I dont see why a wimpy boy like me would have any trouble:p...Maybe some extra washers around the bolt would add extra grip?

how much did you get them for. by the way, i was also in contact with her in claremont since she's only 15 minutes-ish away. seems you got them out from under me.
Hey Fish: The weird thing is that they were there for quite a while and nobody picked them up...Holiday's hangover maybe???...Now about how much I paid I prefer to keep that as private info.

EDIT**
vinnie took time out his day and mine to e-mail me 3 times AND called me once, giving me a few different stories asking me to take down the name of the person he bought the kit from, which i listed in this post. claiming it was his private info. its not a big deal to me and i'm not mad that he got them, so i'll be a pal and take it off.
he said that she said 15 people contacted her about the kit. if her name and number was in the craigslist ad and she asked me or someone else take down her name that would be different. however all of us put out a certain amount of personal info online to buy or sell stuff wether its a local ad, ebay or whatever. that just comes with the territory. it is not his personal info.
and since vinnie called me, 3 guys have contacted me asking about vinnie and the kit. i don't know if they were also trying to buy the kit at the time or just wanna know what he got it for (one guy said he knew) but seems there was ALOT more interest in the kit than the lady let on.
here's one of the ad's. the other one is already gone:
I wouldn't install the cymbal mount. It would just take something away from the virginity of those kicks....
But they are yours and you are certainly free to do what you want with them. I had virgin 6-ply 26" Luddies and I put a big ol' modular mount on them. I'm not sorry either...
Vinny,It's a ok set of drum's..Not my cup of tea..Laughing HLaughing H...By the way its a cool set to fine and being a custom ordered set make's it ever sweeter....Mikey
Theyre on the bench...Getting wax on the bearing edges, all the hardware being polished, grease on the threads, new heads instaled....THE WORKS...getting ready for a recording session they've been rented already...Jump For Joy

Tomorrow Ill post pixs of the Powertone as it is now after triple buffering. Im open to offers for the snare. Its a Fullerton era. Now Fish: Thanks for understanding my point. I just dont see the point of people asking how much someone ellse paid for this or that, especially on a public forum.
