Does anyone have the Ludwig Drummer from 1968 showing Carmine playing a set almost exactly like this?

It is a big deal because besides you, nobody here seems interested on the previous owner of the set, the price that I paid for the drums or your uninterested detective work...Acts speek louder than words...
VDB, most of the people here have bought drums and like to hear about great deals. If you wish to keep that private, that's your choice. When you post a new find on VDF, you know people here are going to ask what you got for them, that's the nature of the beast....We like to hear and we want to be jealous! So if you don't want to have the questions asked, it might be best not to put yourself if that position.
I know Fish and I don't think he met anything derogatory about you when he said that you "got them out from under him". Fish knows of many deals I have gotten, he's the reason for a few. I'm sure if Fish wanted them, he would of bought them, or for that matter contacted me, as he has on other deals. I personally don't think Fish would lie about this whole matter, he's never given me a reason to not take him for his word.
I also agree it's not cool to list a person's email that is not your own while on this forum. It's not yours, so let someone else figure it out.
Lastly on the bass drum cymbal mount. Yes JHB did have on on his kit, but I was speaking of the newer mount and the issue I had with it was not the where the cymbal mounted, but the "L" arm and how loose it was in the holder, no matter how I tightened it.
you guys are reading too much into everything than needed. as i said, i don't care if vinnie got the kit and not me.
i didn't post her email address because that would be unnessary. i just wrote her name. i was being a pal by taking her name off for vinnie. again...its not a big deal to me.
i also know vinnie well enough to ask what he paid. he's about a hour away from me and we met before. he doesn't wanna say what he paid (even though the seller and one other guy who contact me about the kit-told me)
and that's fine. i've refered buyers to him (wether they actually called i don't know) and that's it. no big bad blood between us.
and vinnie did email me thru this site. if the mods wanna take the time to verify by looking thru our pm's-go for it. he has also emailed me personally before.
You use craigslist as your current market value guide??????????? that's funny most meaning 99.9% of us use ebay. Hey since your up on what people pay and who they buy it from. how about a price list and the email address's from the people you've bought from????????????? I've learned a good bit about your character or lack there of. I've been on this forum longer than you funny this is the first time I've ever seen anything like you've presented here.LameLame
I don't keep tabs or running accounts on prices sold but do like to know what something is selling for. I am sure I'm not the only one who shares that interest. To me; an item selling locally is as good or a better indication of price then an item selling world wide. As for your length of time on the forum and your self supposed authority as a "expert", who cares? In your attempt to insult me, you have actually exposed your own sense of self supremacy and feeling of superiority towards myself and all other forum members.
I think you owe us all an apology.
Dude! You forgot the smiley faces.
Beautiful drums.....feel like playin me some Fudge,The Band

That kit is like the one he got for Bonzo in 1969. Those old pictures of Bonham playing the maple kit have put a yearning in me to own one of those Ludwig maple kits someday. Awesome.
