It is hard to make decisions without inspecting in person. This drum is being advertised as an original Jazz Festival from the early 60's. What do you guys think?
Ludwig Jazz Festival real deal or re-wrap? Last viewed: 17 hours ago
Bottom hoop is not Ludwig, or if it is it's from a Standard, but looks like Rogers/Kent...? Definitely not a Ludwig grommet! Can't tell about the wrap....

I didn't catch the grommet so thanks. I'm almost positive that it is a re-wrap. This appears to be a later generation wrap.
+1 re the grommet
No re-enforcement hoops inside the drum, looks fake to me.
You can barely make out the rings ( should have taken the batter head off and gotten an inside shot ) but yea that looks to be a re-wrap. Is that a GC drum? They really have no idea what they have. Same fools who listed a 13" Acrolite when it was a 14".
- Sorry I really dislike the big outlets. They really have no idea what they are selling, and most of the employees have no clue about their fields. Some do, but not all. Not to mention GC beat me out of money -
Ok that's my mini rant for the month, lol
Not a Guru, just addicted to drums

I see re rings. Being a white painted interior if it is original the wrap will be tucked right into the scarf joint of the drum. I would bet the farm it's a rewrap. It dosent look like a 60s ludwig wrap.
