once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Well I picked the set up and have it all apart for rehabbing. The bass is the classic model and 12 x 18 with rail on it but no cymbal L arm bracket ever drilled in it. It has a date stamp of 1966 as near as I can tell. The toms are both club dates and dated 66 also and the snare is the pioneer and dated late 1965. Most items appear to be original on the drums and all are black lacquer finish, with some flaking on the bass drum and various chips on the toms. I am missing part of the rail mount system for the tom, as the rail is there but not all the attaching mechanism for the tom. Will look for that at the Chicago Drum show.

The bass drum hardware is chrome plated and all the toms and snare are nickel. I jut finished rehabbing the snare thus far. Overall everything should clean up real nice and when I finish it I will post photos in the photo section.
