I'd say that's an '80-'82 model most likely. The large round knob would be correct for it. Ludwig still sells those mufflers. Nice drum!

Wow! thanks!... but it´s a Supraphonic or Acrolite?, i think it´s a Supraphonic DOH

I will look at a online store or something like ebay or amazon to buy the original muffler.

Thank you, one more time.

Cheers.

Yeah, it looks like a 6.5 x14 Supraphonic.

It's early 80's. Probably 82/83. From what I've read Ludwig Didn't product badges with Serial #'s beyond 225XXXX.

I think they went up to about 230XXXX and then jumped to 3000000 in the early 1980s.

Collecting information about the following for ongoing research projects:
Gretsch drums with serial numbers,
Ludwig Keystone and B/O badge drums with serial numbers and date stamps,
Ludwig Standards from 1968-73, and
Ludwigs with paper labels from 1971-72

Yes that's right. My mistake. Although I have yet to see a badge with a serial # over 225XXXX.

In general or during a certain time frame?
