Maybe he means Blue/Olive badges Mike? Dunno.

Blue/Olive serials are certainly documented up to 3140000 in KCDrumDad's book. My spreadsheet contributed a few Blue/Olive badges in the vicinity of 3088209 so I can vouch for having seen them.

Ref: Richard Gier, Serial Number Based Dating Guides for Vintage Ludwig Drums, published by Rebeats, 2013. My "go to" guide for all matters serial number. Thanks Rick.

Take a close up pic of the Badge so we can read the Serial Number.

You have a 6.5 x 14 Ludwig LM 402.

As stated previously, it looks like it was made in the 80's.

I have one from the 80's and it is great.

My Ludwig LM 402, 6.5x14 Info:

Serial # on BO Badge with Rounded Corners: 3050708

Year approx.: 1980-1981

Except that it is very out of date, as is all the other online info most people access.

If you aren't using

Richard Gier, Serial Number Based Dating Guides for Vintage Ludwig Drums, published by Rebeats, 2013.

You won't be getting the benefit of all later research. Notice for instance that the link you gave mentions some of the stuff comes from Rob Cook. Well Rob Cook has switched over to Rick's newer work. Which is why Rob Cook (reBeats) publishes the Gier book. What Rick did is collect lots of new data, plus include all the data on the page you linked to, plus other sources.
