haha!

well... we're a single income family with a baby, and a stay at home mom that keeps an eye on the bank account because she is WAY better at it than me

So, I'm going to do the next best thing and load her up with wine tonight

I've had quite a few of the Standard Acrolite snare drums over the years. Always sounded great! Exact same Ludalloy shell as the Supra and Acrolite, but without the center bead. Currently, I have two Standards. Both with the Acrolite finish. One of the drums was obtained without a badge, so I decided to get creative and have the shell anodized. The finish came out really nice, except I wasn't aware that the anodizing process would not take where there were some scratches. You can make out the scratches where the badge was. Still, it's a cool looking snare drum!

As for that Standard being offered for $55...what are you waiting for! Just remember to do what it takes to make it up to your better half!!

You interested in a Standard badge for your snare? I have one that I can send to you if you want it. I have no use for it. PM me if so.

By the way...I attached pics of what I did with my Standard shell. These shells are inexpensive and sound nice!
