Ludwig Super Classics Last viewed: 2 hours ago

Here are some pics of the Ludwig Super Classics. The pic of the bass drum leg is the bass drum leg in question. The bass drum has no extra holes. It looks and function as original.

Does anyone have a price range of what this set might sell for?

Thank you vintagemore2000! I do not have near that in this set! Will this set appreciate in value in your opinion? Would it be better to hang on to this set, of sell it?

I would keep the kit myself. very desireable kit and color. drum prices are going back up now so you will not lose money on the set by keeping it.

Thank you vintagemore2000, I will take your advice and keep them. I played them on a performance last week. I got LOTS of great compliments on the set!

That is an awesome kit. I would not ever sell it unless it became absolutely necessary.

Any drums either Gretch, Ludwig,Rogers,Slingys etc. from the 60`s should never be sold unless you need the finances, and that opens up the chance for the rest of us to obtain them.So i`d say hang onto them as they WILL appreciate in value, but it`s your call.

Well. I guess it is unanimous; I will keep the Super Classics stored in their cases. I do have a Yamaha Recording Custom MIJ I can suffer through playing on while the Super Classics are in storage! (File pic from drum center Portsmouth) mine are same ones though.

Nothing wrong with those drums and the beauties are in storage and that buys you more time to ponder and make a clear decision.Your first decision has been a wise one and enjoy those lovely Luddys...
