Lyra snare on eBay...insane price! Last viewed: 5 minutes ago

I just don't get it! Where do people come up with these prices?!! Please see eBay item 201364969510 and tell me the seller should seek professional help! LoLoLoLo

I've also noticed a trend lately for these MIJ snare drums...that the sellers seem to think they are sitting on a gold mine. It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad world!

Picture attached so you can see the drum in question.

Plenty of sellers don't bother to check and see what's actually sold; they just look at the other stuff currently up for sale at ridiculous prices and they join the stupid. I want to send them all the same message at once: "It's so easy! Just check the successfully sold listings to see what the market will actually bear!"

They`ve listed this snare a couple of times at this price...Why even bother? I`m sure they have received emails stating that the price is insane...$100 tops I`d say since it is a rare wrap and badge...

Cheers

This is truly incredible! I love these old MIJ's probably more than most but, $560.09 Canadian plus shipping for this? Insane! I could buy another good Supra for that!!!

Just a drummer who loves all things about vintage drums! Nothing more, nothing less.

some people don't really want to sell anything so they put a real out of this world price on it ....

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

I messaged the seller to inquire how they came up with this price. Here's the response... "one sold 6 months ago for $400......send me your Best Offer".

I requested that the seller provide me with proof!
