I have no idea about the badge, if someone turned it into a kick from a marching drum, they did a great job. Another interesting thing is the 12" tom doesn't have a hole to receive the set-o-matic tom arm and I don't see any extra holes where the Ludwig tom mount is. I wonder if it was originally ordered this way.

It wouldn't have come from the factory like that, But could have been done at a shop.
