From vibes

Those came out really nice. I have some 3 ply concert toms I bought in 74 that have the rerings on the batter and open side with bearing edges cut on the open side too. I also have a couple of the 6 ply with the chrome rim on the reso side. I like my 74's a lot.

Are you going to leave them original or add heads to them?

Very nice kit. It's not often I say I can see a kit I am truly jealous of and want. This is one of them. I actually want something like this when I get some cash to build a "new" kit. You should make a video of them for us, I am very interested in hearing them.

great kit. but you might wanna know this kit is posted at dfo by someone who says the kit came with a house they bought in canada and ,"what should i do with them?" :http://www.drumforum.org/index.php?/topic/66010-hello-everyone-please-advise/page__gopid__724198#entry724198i've already posted this reply over there. again, if for some reason i'm wrong, i'll happly admit it.

No fish...you are absolutely correct. Some humanoid jacked the pics, and is pretending,to own the drums with some deported to Turkey story.Pretty clever actually.

The bottom feeder posts the pics on a drum forum.Forum members salivate on pics. Then the "I don't know what i'm doing"line.A forum member or two now is chomping at the bit,and through the power of the internet, and paypal, the forum member is soon seperated from his cash.Because although, the drums do exist, they are not in Mon treal(nice touch)

Guys..whatever is too good to be true, usually is,with the occasional attic find/yardsale not withstanding.

This mutt, was just playing on our love of the instrument, and even more....love of the great deal.Scum buckets like this, are thieves, just like the guy who jacks your credit card/checking account.

I guess its just my cynical attitude, but after over 20 years on the NYPD,I have see most of it,and I would hate to see anyone here or anyplace else, get ripped off by this humanoid.Watch your bumms.....rant over.Soap Box

amen Steve!

I LOVE THIS KIT!! This is pure American muscle...like a classic '64 GTO or a

'65 Chevelle. Beautiful to look at and a monster to play. Love your customizing decisions especially the rack mount system...gives it a mean look!

The pic with tool chest is awesome. Great job...enjoy the ride!

Wow, that is a wonderful compliment - thank you. Sadly, the acoustics in that garage are horrid. If wish I had some mics and gear to record them properly. They are very thunderous, but in a mild mannered mellow kinda way.

I agree steve - I hate a thief and an Internet thief is the worse. They prey on emotion and can do their dirty work from the anonymous keyboard.

The rack and suspension mounts provide the best of both worlds. They let the toms sing and the hardware is rock solid. I think the kit would look great on stands too, but I do a lot of work in the garage with air tools, jacks, etc. I am always tinkering on the vette or my son is using the garage for his car. I fear stands could get caught by the air hose or drop cord and topple something over. Maybe I should mount the big air compressor behind the kit and put the second tool box that is out of the picture on the right side of the kit, with the vette in the foreground. The made in America, all American muscle, man cave :)
