Im excited for you Robyn! Nothing better than drums showing up at the door. Im waiting for a sheet of veneer and I am just as excited about that as I am drums. Working on and playing the drums is a lot of fun. Whats your plans for them?

The waiting is part of the fun! When it finally shows up on your doorstep it's like X-mas, Birthday and 4th of July rolled into one.
Enjoy, it's a great feeling... I'm excited for you.

Doesn't take much, eh? lol
Just kidding. I happy for everyone here. Packages are fun. Who can forget the epic "hurry up and wait" for Purdie's black beauty?
Seems like it took forever. And that it was just yesterday....
Way to go Robyn! I know you'll love your Hollywoods (from a fellow Hollywood owner). Can't wait to see pictures.

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
robyn - here's mine! I don't have the second 12" tom set-up, but this is a 1962 pre-serial Sky Blue Pearl Hollywood kit. Great drums, kiddo. You're going to -love- playing them! My kit is; 12", 12", 16", 22" w/Jazzfest
