I did not get the set,the deal went to hell fast.To make a long story short, the drums were listed on C/L in a town -about 30 miles from me-well that's what the guy told me last night on the phone,so i went down to see the drums and guess what the drums were about 250 miles from me in another town. The guy wanted me to give him the 2,800.00 is cash and he would have his brother bring the drums up is a few hours..I said No drums must be here so i can see them..Anyway i got out of their with the 2,800.00 cash and left...Mikey

That blows, Mikey...it looked like a killer set! I did notice the pics you posted were dated 2001....so even though there were no drums...glad you made it back with your cash. Shady people suck....

Definitely smells fishy. That's unfortunate - I was looking forward to some better pics of these tubs.

Pity, but you are so right. That deal stinks on ice... Give us the money and we'll bring you the drums... right...

Need to email you as well, I need some parts for a Tama Imperialstar King Beat snare.

I wonder if that snare drum was a twin strainer. Kind of a rare color for WFL then. Most sets were WMP,BDP or some kind of duco. I agree though, that deal sounded very fishy. No way would I hand over money without seeing the set to inspect it carefully. If the deal was real and the guy knew you were willing to pay tht much, he would have gone and picked up the set himself. They probobly don't evem own it. Sad for sure.
