The Krupa is hard to beat. I'm playing a 10x15 silver sparkle mid 60's Slingerland that sounds like GOD.

Do you have all your kits set up around the house? Do the kits have the snares with them or do you keep all the snares in your snare rack?

Congrats on that great collection...I really like that idea with the 2X4's and what looks like that pipe insulation opened up to fit over it for the cushion....x-mas2 "He who dies with the most toys wins!"

I wish I had the room. That would be a total dream come true for me. Last count I had around 15 different outfits. That takes a lot of space. I threatened to take the wife's living room for a drum museum but.... well, the black eye eventually healed. :)

I only get to set up one outfit at home. Well, two, if you count the digital set in the studio. The only way I get to play all my drums is by playing out. And, with only 3 years drumming experience, gigs are not easy to find. LMAO Fortunately, I live in a "drummer challenged" area so I get a lot of opportunities. I swap drum sets each time I play. That gives me a chance to rotate through the group pretty quickly.

Someday I'll set them up one by one and take pictures. It's sad that I have bought and sold drum sets without ever even having taken a picture of them. :(

The first picture attached shows the snares when they are all tucked in with their jammies on for nighty-night. LOL That's how they spend most of their time.

The second shot is drum storage central. LOL You can't really see but there's 4 sets lined up and 2 on the top shelf. The other side of the room is lined with file cabinets with parts and more drum sets. LOL

Finally, my beautiful studio strewn awry with Christmas boxes. LOL It will be back to normal right after the first of the year.

I definitely need more room. I have 2 sets in storage and a couple cheapo sets that I leave at various practice locations so I don't need to haul too much crap all the time.

I must say..... I often wish I had taken up harmonica instead of drums. Sure would save a lot of hauling. LOL

If "he who dies with the most toys wins" is true, I'm at least in the running somewhere. LOL

You know, drummers like most of us who are on this forum will one day need a house just for the DRUMS.........Cool Dude

I bought these shelves online for cheap and they work really well and you dont have to build anything or screw anything to your wall.

Oh I forgot to mention, my snares have a 1" piece of a 14" keller shell inbetween them to let them stack nicely. I bought a 14X24" keller shell and sliced it into 14X1" strips to stack my drums. I got this idea when i had a few snares stacked on my work table and they started to look like the leanin' tower of pizza. I had one shell stripped to the bare wood and stacked it inbetween 2 others and thay stacked straight up. take a look.
