Not a guru just havin fun with some old dusty drums.

Hello All -
Nate here from The Drum Shop North Shore. We're officially open for business now, but we're having a Grand Opening November 10th and we'll have a 10% off sale for the entire day. Our hours are 10:30am-6:30pm Monday thru Thursday and 10-5 Friday and Saturday. Our website is under construction and should be up and running sometime early next week. Feel free to contact us through Facebook (/TheDrumShopNS), Email ([email protected]), iPhone - call/text (978-810-9377), or better yet stop in (457 Rantoul St., Beverly, MA).
It's so encouraging to see all the local support on this thread. I can't make this drum shop a success without all of you. It's my goal to create a well-stocked shop that has the gear YOU want and need. Please give me your suggestions. Your input is important to me!
I look forward to seeing you all soon!
Best of luck Nate. We're all rooting for you.
Hi Nate, Best of luck with the store. Was checking out your pics on Facebook. You have some REAL nice stuff there!! Yes Sir I hope to make it up there one day.

Stopped over this morning to check out the shop-boy has Nate done a nice job setting this place up. I had a great conversation with him and since no one was in the shop early on a Saturday morning, got a private tour of the place-if you are in the area one should go check this place out.
Great stuff in there and what I liked is the sense of it is a place for drummers and Nate will give you his personal attention-kind of like when I go visit the nearby neighborhood Agway store instead of Home Depot.
A couple of stellar DW kits in there and quite a snare selection.
Noble and Cooley Walnut snare
Noble and Cooley Horizon 6 piece kit in blue sparkle
2002 Noble and Cooley 4 piece Studio Classic in natural maple
Nov 3 1967 Ludwig chrome Supraphonic
1990s Pearl Session Custom in Amber fade
20 Zildjians
1984 Tama Superstar Bell Brass Snare
Noble and Cooley natural cherry snare
Thanks Ludwig-dude for sharing this info! Cool1
1961 Ludwig Cocktail Lounge drum 24 x 16 in blue sparkle
1966 Ludwig Hollywoods in Sky Blue Pearl 12/13/16/22
1971 Ludwig Super Classics in Blue Sparkle 13/16/22
1976 Ludwig Vistalites in Blue 13/14/16/22
70s/80s Ludwig orphans in Black Cortex "Bonham" style 14/16/18/20/26 (B/O Badges)
Many snares
Since you asked, send me a NOS DW Kit and a couple vintage snares, a huge gong, and whatever the biggest double kick kit you have is, and I will endorse your shop.......Laughing H (joke, I can't even play the rum pum pum to keep along with the little drummer boy)
Kudos for keeping the American dream alive and venturing into the corporate jungle! Look forward to the website!

If you commit to something, honor it
If you promise something, do it
Train your staff the way you want to be treated.
Never lie to a customer.
Always smile
Always look people in the eye
Always offer a firm handshake
Do this and you will succeed...best wishes.
This is cool news.. I know Chris and the guys from Portland so I'll be up to check the place out soon.
Sonor - Hey bud, is that you? (From DFO)
Good to see you here! Hope to see you posting here. Good bunch of guys at VDF, much more vintage drum focused than the other place. Lots of good drum-talk to be had here. Slower pace, fewer people, but it makes for better dialog and you can get to know the regulars fairly quickly.
Welcome to VDF amigo! You're a good addition to the cast.
John
