From Purdie Shuffle

The DUCO with the Imperials and the keystone badge... Ludwig finally got it all right! All the many variations along the way and what always kills is the classic design and feel of the old vintage kits. About time they gave their own tradition some recognition! I love the look of the new drums. Mark - You have to tell us what the sound and build quality is like when you see and play them. Have fun at the show... I know you will!John

Oh you know I will!! :-)

So, any guess as to what this finish will be called ?

All it would need would be a red sparkle inlay on the hoops and you'd have

Martini Olive Sparkle, which sounds so cool ;)

I know I'm late to the party, but man those club dates are going to be suhweeet! Hoping that 7 ply (2 plies Maple 3 plies Poplar 2 plies Maple) shell with rounded over bearing edges do justice to these beauties!
