Maybe they are "The Others!"
Non-Posters and Lurkers post your drums thread. Last viewed: 2 hours ago
You know it's funny. I lurked here for almost a year before I joined. I was thinking one night about my old Rogers and Slingerland drums. And how I wanted to get back into drumming again. Seeing all the great pictures everyone posted in the gallery really hooked me again.
Not a guru just havin fun with some old dusty drums.

I did just about the same thing, Glenn. Followed all the posts silently for about a year and almost felt I knew you all. It wasn't difficult at all to just jump into the fray, post a few pics, and ask a bunch of questions. VDF still remains a great site for any player or collector regardless of one's level of expertise.
So where are you first-time posters? Let's see what you got in your basements or attics. That dusty old Made in Japan set you think is not worth posting about may just stir up a lot of interest and applause.

Tempus, cool.
these came with Rogers big R hardware, they were ordered usually with Rogers or Pearl as the stock hardware was not as sturdy
Very nice drums... I love that finish... The 24x18 must sound like an earthquake in fibreglass...
Cheers

Very cool kit! Thanks for sharing. I dig that these have big R hardware but use those Pearl-style muffler knobs with wings. I'm sure they sound thunderous!

I wondered what brand these muffler knobs were.
These drums are pre-Tempus,Paul Mason re-named it but kept the same molds
Thanks for posting Mike, I'll bet that kit sounds great. I really like the Milestone drums, so much that I got a Tempus carbon fibre kit a few years ago, 20, 12 14 w/ a matching 5x14 snare. I got the snare before Paul Mason closed up :)
Beautiful kit GAR,I'm guessing those are painted not wrapped? That fiberskin looks great on there.,is Tempus closed down?,I thought he moved it to Toronto and sold the company
