I must be out of touch... is $1600 a 'good price' for that kit? It struck me as being a bit high. But then, I'm not sure what champ sparkle is going for these days. I don't follow market prices the way I used to.

I don't know. I'm probably too blinded by my desire for a 24" champagne kick to think that hard about it. Eye Ball I also haven't been shopping vintage drums long enough to recognize anything but a flagrantly a bad deal.

I emailed them today to ask if they'd sell the pieces individually and they won't. They also sent a photo of the interior of the drum and it is without a doubt a 6-ply. So, onward and upward.
