Our first gig Last viewed: 37 minutes ago

Well, here we go. I was not in favor of doing this because we are not ready, but, I did agree that it would be fun and I will have a chance to show off one of my kits. We are playing at a 50th birthday/Halloween party for some friends. We have nine songs and with a little yakity yak in between them, we can stretch this to an hour. I figured what the heck, it will be a good experience for us and we are playing for a bunch of good friends and they will get a kick out of it and really dont expect us to be great anyway, the know we just started three months ago. I am thinking I will take my Sligerland kit, especially if I get my 18" floor tom complete.

Thank you!

You know that will turn into more than an hour and a lot of improvising. You can't seem to get the guitar players to pack up and leave. In the band I'm in the saying is "damn guitar players".

How do you get a guitar player off your porch?

Pay him for the pizza...........rimshot.

That is great Jeff. When the gig runs longer, just remember this phrase: "We've had a request to play this one...again."
