Dang, there are some great deals here! I haven't been all that lucky lately, I picked up a 60s BDP Slingy Artist for $175 and I got some decent deals on a pair of Bosphorus Turk hats and a 16" paper thin crash, but nothing too crazy lately, I'm past due for a good score 8).

Here a few of my recent finds:MIJ Dynasonic Copy in Red Sparkle: $18

I would to see this one Ad...the reason, what makes it a Dyna copy? I have a ton of MIJ wood snares, and none are what I would consider a Dyna copy, but I see something new almost daily. Does it have a paralell strainer....that sort of thing.

Right now, in my home I have 5 amazing MIJ snares complete and playable, with 5 more waiting for completion, 1 Acrolite, 2 40++ yearold MIJ kits in fantastic condition, an early to mid-60s Ludwig Spur-Loc 1123-1 hh with the period correst 14" Paiste Stanople hats, in good condition, an 18" Paiste Stanople Sizzle Ride, no rivets, a 13" Avedis bottom that is a great effects cymbal, another TAMA hh with a pair of no-name heavy hats that sound amazing and all the rest of the various goodies. I have, with new heads, hoops, snares, everything you would need to restore a kit to playable condition, all this and more. All told, I have less than $300 invested in it all.

Th best deal was the Majestics for $50, including a ton of cybals and other gear. My WMP kit, from Kevins was $100 delivered, plus another 85 for a ghost pedal and a snare shell and hoops. So I think I have done very well for two old vintage kits that have amazing quality sound, for old MIJ stuff.....

I just rememberd a few more. I scored a pearl export 22, 12, 16, with a acrolite snare, stands, tama pedal and new 14" new beat hats for $150. Sold the 22,12,16, on ebay for $350, kept everything else. The guy was switching to guitar and was moving.

Also got a Tama stagestar 10-12-14-18 kick with 13" metal snare stands and throne for $50 on CL At that time I was looking for a 18" bass drum kit and was negotiating with another guy on another stagestar kit he was asking 300 for. I looked on Cl one morn and there it was but didnt say the brand. I called and asked what the badge on the drums said and it was excatly what I had been looking for. This girll was selling them to get them out of her garage. They belonged to her brother.
