Picked up a C.B. 700 set But it came with a 1967-68 VOX C.O.S 5.5x14 snare drum for 20.00 for all drums at a yard sale today.....Mikey
I'm super excited about this Gretsch I just picked up yesterday.
It's my first Gretsch kit and it sounds great. This is a keeper! And, I got it for $500.

Hey crispy nice gretsch kit. i know the basics of gretsch and it reams to me you got a great deal. your drums are in real nice shape enjoy that great grestch sound.
1979 12 pc ludwig power factory
40's radio king snare... needs much work, but worth it. Need lugs and strainer.... 70 bucks.... totally worth it. Will be a great drum, not collectors, but at least it will make sound again!

Yesterday, I found a Camco strap drive pedal for $15...that thing is smooth as melted butter.
It's been a couple years but 1967 silver sparkle Ludwigs, keystone badge,12,13 16, 22, Acrolite snare. For the low low price of $5.00. Yes $5.00. a theater group was using them for props. They were moving to a new smaller place and were selling all their props and costumes for $5.00 ea. They needed some work but I've restored them and my son is playing them now. I can't figure out how to post pictures on this site it keeps telling me the file's too big. I'll figure it out and post some pictures of our sets.

Just picked up a mid 60s Gretsch Name Band outfit (22/13/16/snare) in silver sparkle with 15" trans stamp hats, 17" trans stamp medium thin crash and a 60s 22" zildjian THIN ride. Included were the original Gretsch cases and two trap cases full of hardware. Two bass drum pedals, two cymbal l-arms, two hi-hat stands, etc etc.
