After reading this earlier thread http://www.vintagedrumforum.com/showthread.php?t=27450&highlight=levon I contacted a woman named Geanine who is the office manager at Levon Helm Studios. I told her about the thread and the fans and admirers that Levon had here and after a couple of email exchanges she said that she would try to get some info regarding the kits/snares when Levon got off tour. This was March 23 this year.

Today I found that message and sent condolences on behalf of myself and the members here at VDF. She replied with thanks and said she will pass it on and is sorry she was unable to fill us in.

RIP Levon, one of a kind.
