Rogers 1968 concerns Last viewed: 2 hours ago

If you succeed in acquiring a perfect vintage kit (ie. no swapped out hardware, extra holes, etc.) for your first, you will get familiar with it and become knowledgable about the brand, the era, etc. and take it from there for future acquisitions.

The pic on the right looks like a wrap that Gretsch uses. As far as the kit on the left, with the hardware it would make it an early/mid 70s; but as far as the lugs go it looks 60s to me, mid-late 60s. Overall it looks like a 72-74 kit,

does that sound right to anyone else?

Here's a pic of my Rogers; it's a 67-69 'holiday'.The kick drum is a Dayton (67-78) and the toms are Fullerton (69). Holiday became Powertone in '70 so my kit is all late 60s.
