The bottom hoop may be closer. The camera is tilted up at an angle. I also had the hoop basically just sitting on top and not tightend down. The lugs are centered on the drum. You can see that the lug screws in the inside of the shell are centered. Thanks

great find.... it has always amazed me that 14x16 floor toms were not made more often i have had the pleasure of playing 2 of them both rogers and they are cannons and the best sounding Floor toms i have ever heard bar none! i have often thought of building one they just plain kick a$$
