Rogers Dynasonic COB Snare Drum Need Help To Identify Last viewed: 3 hours ago

Loading...

The snare drum is nearly finished. All the parts have come up really well. Just wont command any profit as a complete drum. Ive decided to sell it as parts. The english rogers are not going to sell any where near the USA version. Im sure for the strainer butt and frame ill get interest on ebay. The hoops and shell will sell for what they are..........Thanks for all the help and advice on this particular drum.

I'm pretty sure the "D" is for Dynasonic. I think it was added after the throw off change.

It's your drum, as Ploughman stated, and do what you want, but this is a rare one, and once it's parted out, it's gone forever.....

Must profit be the motivator here, in this case? Surely there is a buyer that will compensate you for the original cost you've incurred...? Pass it on, and let this one live.

Part it out? Really? What a shame. You have a couple of people on this site who are interested. Pass it on.

I am thinking the heart of "help and advice" is very close to freezing solid.

Hello ..... Firstly id like to say a big thanks to the members on VDF that have convinced me that this drum is not going to be sold as bits and pieces. Its a great drum and once re-assembled it will go up for sale. Because ive talked to people with more knowledge than me on VDF, i appreciate and have taken all on board. Once assembled i will post in the snare drum section plus i will show pics of all the components finished before assembly. Big Thanks to all VDF members.........sean

Wonderful news! I have often been tempted to part out a drum but always come around and keep it together for someone else to enjoy.

Hope it all works out for you!
