Thanks for all the feedback guys. A bit of history. I bought the Rogers kit in New Zealand in 1968 and I was the second owner. I have not modified or changed anything except for the tensioning screw on the bridge.I have the original screw and bridge which I will show in a photo.
The Top Hat kit must have been a special order as it is different from those shown in catalogues. The kit consists of a 20 inch bass drum. 2 floor toms, one 14 and a 16 inch, a wood snare,[the one shown in the photo] and most unusual of all, 2 13x9 toms. All are holiday models and all were made in Cleveland. All are steel grey in colour. The tom holder is T shaped.
I have never heard of the dog bone holder altho i am guessing that it is the same as mine.
I am very interested on any feed back you can give me on this kit and the snare drum as I am asked alot about it here in N.Z.
Rogers drums were imported into N.Z. in the 1960s altho there were very few about as we could buy English made drums at a much cheaper price.
