Rogers fixer upper Last viewed: 5 hours ago

12" x 8", 13" x 9", 15" x 12", 20" x 14", with a 14" x 5" wood snare.

Missing the resonant-side tall boy hoops on the toms, and metal bass hoop. The snare and bass drum have different (than beaver tail) lugs, and the bass is missing a few lugs. The bass wrap is missing a section. The toms are missing some hardware, and it looks like the 15" was used as a mounted tom.

It has a Rogers pedal, unknown hi-hat, snare, and cymbal stands, and flimsy hi-hat cymbals. Dingy, dirty white wrap, gray interiors, no labels, and only the 12" tom has a script badge. The reinforcing rings on the 12" and 15" are about an inch wide, and about 2 inches wide on the 13", which seems unusual. The exposed bearing edges aren't too bad, but will need work.

Craigslist find, Atwater, CA --- $50.

What do you think, and what can you tell me about it?

Bass drum is a zero. Same with the tom hanging on the BD. Possibly the tom on the right side of the BD.

Tom on left side of bd on floor, is a Rogers drum... Cannot tell about the snare.

you do have a Rogers foot pedal which is worth what you paid for all of it.

Sorry to say that is one nasty pile of junk.

"Zero" meaning not Rogers?

The 15" tom has a hex holder that's stamped "Japan"- it does not look original to that drum. But it's the same shape as the impression on the 12" Rogers script tom. The snare has no markings, not even the strainer. The interior of the bass is light brown. The tom mount? Is the hi-hat stand a Rogers with an unknown pedal?

It's looking like the bass and snare lugs, and the tom mount are Pearl.

Yep, early 70's Pearl/Maxwin and a few others.

You have one Rogers tom, some lugs, and a bd pedal. The rest is not Rogers. You could probably get your money back from it all and make a few bucks. At least it isn't all wasted.

Yeah, the Rogers is the only one that looks like it wasn't re-wrapped. It's kind of strange that somebody put beaver tail lugs on the other toms. Oh well. I'm going to try out the 12 with my Slingerland kit to see if I like it better than the 13 (pretty good) and 14 (eh).

Thanks for the info.

the muffler in the tom is a Radio King by the looks. Is the part that clamps the bass pedal to the bass drum hoop present?
