That just adds to the wow factor,.. I see the hoop now, smaller tacks. First time seeing that. That snare is the bomb. The BD spurs,...The more I look at the trap kit, the more I want it. You got a sweet kit there.

Thank you! I agree- I think the alteration is really added coolness.

Don`t mean to flood ya with questions but, What are those little studs that stick out of the fT and rack tom, looks to be in the vent hole or something ? Those things thast have a ring at the ends.

Those were rings that could be used with Chinese tom holders. However, I have never figured out why they had two.....?

Beautiful kit and banjo! - the headstock on the banjo is similar to Lange made banjos from back in the day (I have a Lange made Triple X banjo with identical shaped headstock, though it's not a pearl finish). Don't quote me on it but I don't think Vega did pearl finishes.

'67 Rogers Holiday Champagne sparkle 20/16/12
'65 Rogers Powertone COB 5x14 snare
'68 Ludwig Acrolite snare 5x14
Bosphorus Hammer, Antique, and New Orleans series cymbals
Paiste Formula 602 cymbals

2015 Gretsch Brooklyn 18/14/12 (not vintage but I love it nonetheless)

Thank you! And thanks for the information. I thought maybe it was a Vega based on the shape of the headstock. Each company had distinctive shapes. I'm pretty new at this and have been looking into banjo history and types of banjos. Pretty interesting stuff and very drum related. The pearl finishes are just amazing.
