sell as a kit or split? Last viewed: 11 hours ago

Well, IMHO I would sell it as a kit, or set. I'm kind of big on restoring stuff, and that kit seems very nice in the picture.

Am I interested? No, but there are lots of folks that crave huge sets. I just hate to see stuff parted out I guess... it's made it this far, keep it together.

How bad are the bearing edges? Any ply seperation? I have no idea on value sorry. But think it would fare better sale wise cleaned up and complete. Maybe gauge what you have into it as is vs $$$ for getting the bottom hoops, T rods and heads. And then decide which path to choose. If you really have no interest in them as is clean them up best you can and let them go down the road.

Glenn.

Not a guru just havin fun with some old dusty drums.

If you can, keep it together. I have a 7pc rocker and have been trying to sell it for awhile now, if i had sold the 14 & 15 toms I'd just have a standard 5 pc. Which would NEVER sale. Besides now is not the time to sell vintage drums, it's time to BUY!

I have a mix match of Modular hardware I have collected over the years in hopes of finding a cool 70's or 80's Chrome-o-wood set. the pic above actually dosnt show everything. btw it has a 6.5x14 instead of the stock 5x14 I belive they were always chrome wrap. also my set is erlier like '84, so I have the granitone interiors and disappearing spurs, but the bass drum is virgin.
