You own four of the most significant snare drums ever made. Nothing insignificant there. Those are great snares.
As we used to say in the 70s - What a man!
Ploughman-- Guess you're right..They are some of the most significant drums in history.. ;))
But your collection is vast..vast..vast.. lol..
part of my meager collection:

Plougman great Rogers collection!
I have 20 snares, this is a stack of 'some' of them.

Great stuff everybody!
John-those are some beauties. That one at the top left is your project snare (slingerland?) that you built instead of your bronze supra isn't it?
Mike
Mike - The 6.5"x14" Slingy isn't in the photo. The drums are scattered all over the house and it's hard for me to round them all up for a family photo. I didn't show the orange-peel Acro, the snare from Big Blue, a bunch of them didn't make the photo-shoot. I thought these were cool enough to show off the collection, but it's only a little more than half of what I have. The upper left drum is my hammered bronze Supra. I love that drum, one of my favorites sound-wise.
I have a vintage Slingy copper shell (virgin) that is next on my list. It's an un-drilled 6.5"x14" NOS Slingy copper shell. It's going to make for a nasty sounding snare.

Shaking my head. I must be going blind! Wouldn't doubt it.lol. I see the imperial lugs now and the top die cast hoop. I know that drum!
Mike
LOL You should!
