G'day Guys,

Here's a seller pic for the snare I bought last week, seller has now found a shipping box so it should be on it's way today. I put up the serial number as I suspect someone here sold it a couple of years ago. Any input/mojo would be great.

Its coming UPS so should take up "Australian Citizenship" early next week.

Cheers

I agree completely!....you're a very sick man & the only cure is to immediately ship this drum to me upon arrival in the land of OZ!...after that you must contact bunnyman, he will absolve you of your sins & transgressions & make you drink really nasty tasting alcoholic beverages. Cool1

Slingy addiction (IMHO) is a wonderful thing!...really great drums & not nearly as expensive as Rogers!...unfortunately, I'm addicted to both. Got a new Ludy Super Sens a couple weeks ago & feel a new insanity creeping in!...BUNNYMAN!...I NEED A SHOT! Eye Ball

Nice drum Steve!

Thanks Steve & Dan.

Yep,

It looks pretty clean in the other pics too but I can't post them as they reflect the face of the seller.. he may not approve of that. I am looking forward to this one.. first 10 lugger Slingerland that I have had.

The serial number puts it pretty much in vintage with the "Thunder Down Under" kit.,, so thats where she'll sit.

I admit.. Slingo fever has set in big time...

Cheers

Thanks All,

I'm not out of the woods yet though.. Apparently UPS wanted 480 bucks to ship to OZ..?? Sounds a bit much to me... we decided go back to USPS Priority Air, but the "bloody box" was too big for them.. Seller is now looking for a smaller box & I am still waiting to hear whats happening..

It will get here somehow..

Thanks Stevo,

There can't be too many Slingerland "Tragics" down here, Maybe we form a club (just the two of us).

Mikey,

Its not the one, but thanks. I was on to John's one when I spotted this one, the serial number (vintage), & zoomatic veered me to this one instead.

Cheers

You should have the seller check the shipping cost at Priority not Priority Air..Priority would be less should be about 100.00-125.00 if the seller is in the U.S. Mikey

Thanks Mikey,

I have passed that on to the seller... and yes he's in the USA. I have paid 127.50 USD for postage..(so far)..

Good news is, he has now found a smaller box that should comply with USPS..

I should now have a tracking number by tomorrow...It's been a long week... I am now pouring a stiff scotch on the rocks.
