Slingerland beyond repair? Last viewed: 5 seconds ago
Yes, that's the case but note that they are in pretty bad condition.
I think they' re worth it but i think i can' t restore them to a 100 %.

Doesn't matter the condition of the wrap..
They will sound excellent!
190 $ US would be a deal here...let alone 3,000 miles away....across the pond.....
Congrats! Those won't clean up to new. They should turn out very nice with some work.

I'd say around 1973-74 production. The tom mounts are pretty chewed up but could be replaced. The spurs are correct but have been modified (the Spur Mounts are probably without thread and the T screws). Those Spur Mounts (may?) be repairable.

Good morning from Holland to you and thanks for all the tips and advice.
I took some more pictures, i was wondering if the picture with the "vent holes" are supposed to be like this?
Best regards,
Ray
The two holes in the pic are for an internal muffler...
Cheers

Someone really tightened the original BD plate tension knob and tom mount tensioner too hard!
If the BD plate still tightens....I would use "as is"..
Tom mount should be replaced though.....easy to find....
Ok, thanks for all the information.
I bought the set and will make pictures when it's cleaned up.
Any suggestions on a kind of matching snare?
a 6-1/2 by 14 Gene Krupa COB would work very well with this.....
