Could you please remove a lug? That should solve the original color mistery...

Yes, I'll do that in the morning, and check the leg mounts. Will post a couple of pics. Thanks again all.

Hi, I have removed a fllor tom mount, they are stamped "Made in England"! so assume maybe Premier, good point no extra holes, bad point, possibly been enlarged, but washers may cover that. I cannot see too much fading inder there, so removed the mount from the 12" still doesn't look too faded, so not too sure of the colour now. I have added a few more pics.

Serial numbers are from the early 70's.

A gorgeous kit, from when Slingerland was in their prime. Congratulations.

Nice purchase. The wrap seems (no pun intended)to be in good condition.

I bought them from an old man that bought them for his son, son moved away years ago. He was moving house and they were in the loft. Cased, cases were carpet lined, so it has been well looked after, and probably hasn't seen the light of day for at least 20 years. The father told me the son bought a Yamaha kit and just put that in storage! Bass drum still has dealers label on, which they seemed to do over here in those years. "Musical Instruments, Records and Tapes".

Going with faded black sparkle for the colour. Thanks again for all the info. Now to track down the wee bits and bobs, and get them back to original.

Very, very nice. I love the dealer badge. Great bit of provenance.

Beautiful kit. It looks like the floor tom leg mounts are Premier.
